2010 School Year Opening Celebration and Benefit Concert
Featuring Musical Artist - Alejandro Escovedo
Join The Magellan International School as we kick off the opening of our 2010/ 2011 school year with a benefit concert featuring Alejandro Escovedo. The admission cost includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages. The concert will start at 8:30 pm.
Only 200 tickets are available for sale so invite your friends and get your tickets early! MIS t-shirts will be on sale at the event so bring your checkbook or cash! Remember all proceeds go directly to MIS to support school operations and to help launch our new library!
About the artist: Alejandro Escovedo has been called a "low key legend" and named "one of the most important artists of the last quarter century." Alejandro just released a new album called Street Songs of Love which includes duets with Bruce Springsteen and Ian Hunter. MIS is honored to have Alejandro perform at its benefit concert.
